Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 10 - 30 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic, Indo-West Pacific and the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Assumed maximum length from Ref. 844. Found at depths of 10 to 30 m (Ref. 866). Feeds on gorgonian coral, Eunicella (Ref. 844).
