Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 39 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific and the Arctic: Alaska, USA and Canada. Temperate to polar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It is found on rock and sandy bottoms, from the low intertidal to a depth of 39 meters (Ref. 865).
