Family:  Oplophoridae (deepsea shrimps)

Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 380 - 631 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 78666. Found on deep sea benthos (Ref. 97366). Specimens being found near land and taken in bottom trawls or a dredge suggest that it lives on or near the bottom, at least during daylight (Ref. 78666).
