Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 132 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: USA to Bermuda and Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 97531. Found among coral rubble, sponges or algal nodules, among sea grasses, algae, rocks, shells, tubes of polychaetes (Ref. 80391), and other submerged vegetation (Ref. 97531).
