Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Eastern Gulf of Mexico to Barbados, Curaçao and Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits canals of sponges (Ref. 83410) found on rubble (Ref. 86613) and coarse calcareous bottoms (Ref. 79730). Found on seagrass and other submerged vegetation (Ref. 97531).
