Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Colonies are encrusting, knobby, rarely columnar. Coralites are widespread with coenosteum styles usually small but distinctive. Dark or pale greenish brown, or mottle dark green usually with white polyps.
Biology:  Usually found only in high latitude environments (Ref 847). Forms encrusting sheets on shady habitats like walls and overhangs (Ref. 98471).
