Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea: from Portugal and Morocco and into the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Rare species (Ref. 106350). Deep-sea species occurring in the shelf slope (Ref. 106602). Found on sandy-muddy bottoms (Ref. 106350). In general, members of the family Parthenopidae are generalists, omnivores and detritivores (Ref. 105344).
