Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range - 4 m
Distribution:  Atlantic, Indo-Pacific and the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in mud, in shells or under a stone near the low tide mark (Ref. 907), also found among algae and rocks (Ref. 966), at the low tide mark.. Feeds on polychaetes (Ref. 907, 971).
