Colonies are up to 0.3 meters across and usually prostrate. Branches are not fused and are not tapered. Polyps are extended at day and night. They have a wide range of colors with polyps and branches of contrasting colors. |
Found in shallow reef environments especially where protected from strong wave action including vertical walls and beneath overhangs (Ref. 847). |
