Family:  Pocilloporidae ()
Max. size:  30 cm COLD (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 3 - 35 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:  The major difference are that the branches are somewhat stouter, and this thickness extends almost to the blunt branch tips. Corallites are usually hooded, giving the branches a rough appearance (Ref. 269).
Biology:  Depth based from occurrence (Ref. 8294); to be replaced with a better reference. On upper reef slopes (Ref. 98471). Zooxanthellae (Ref. 19).
