Family:  Scyllaridae (slipper lobsters)
Max. size:  30 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 2 - 91 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It has lengths of 35 cm, total body length; 11 cm, carapace length (Ref. 4). Known from depths between 2 and 91 m on a sandy substrate, sometimes mixed with mud, shells or corals (Ref. 4).
