Environment:  sessile; marine
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Japan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Tropical to subtropical.
Diagnosis:  Orange in color. Colony is upright, arising from a main stem with a slightly expanded base. Short, irregular branches grow at acute angles. Tentacles and the whole surface of the polyps, stem, and branches are covered with small sclerites which are colorless in water.
