Max. size:  100 cm COLD (male/unsexed)
Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 0 - 35 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Atlantic: Canary Current and Guinea Current.
Diagnosis:  Encrusting to branching, reaching up to 1 meter across. Light brown or blue-gray in color.
Biology:  Species length sometimes exceeds more than 100 cm (Ref. 847).
