Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Eastern Africa to Japan, Australia and American Samoa.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 96667. Dwells in crevices on coral reefs, in cavities of coral rocks with overgrown coralline algae, in dead and overgrown coral heads and among branches of living corals (Ref. 79725).
