Max. size:  8 cm ML (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 10 - 600 m
Distribution:  Pacific Ocean and the Arctic: from Japan northward to Aleutian Islands and Gulf of Alaska. Temperate to polar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It is occasionally observed in tidepools at night (Ref. 865).
