Max. size:  7 cm ML (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 17 - 700 m
Distribution:  Northern Atlantic and the Arctic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 119523. Nektobenthic. Has more pelagic lifestyle. The only sepiolid in the world ocean whose main prey are fshes (Ref. 123967).
