Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 0 - 40 m
Distribution:  Northern Atlantic and Arctic Ocean. Mostly polar, but also in subtropical and boreal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Littoral to 40 m. Main substratum was a bedrock with some stones, overgrown with the brown alga Chordaria flagelliformis (Ref. 120406).
