Max. size:  16 cm COLD (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 20 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Colonies are encrusting to slightly dome-shaped and up to 160 millimeters across. Corallites are cerioid, polygonal and about 3-6 millimeters in diameter. Pale grey in color with distinctive white corallite walls but may also be uniform brown in the western Indian Ocean.
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 115143. Found in very shallow water and usually attached to bare rocks (Ref. 847).
