Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 40 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Colonies are small. Grey-brown or beige in color. Tentacles expand during the day (Ref. 130769).
Biology:  Occurs at intertidal rock pools and common on subtidal reefs and boulders until 38 m depth (Ref. 88997). Also on a wide variety of reef slopes (Ref . 98471). Not easily seen due its small colony size and cryptic coloration (Ref. 130769).
