Environment:  pelagic; marine; depth range 0 - 40 m
Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic: France, Norway and England.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Abundant in the lower 20m of the water column, with increased congregation at the 20-30m depth zone during summer and autumn months. Reported at temperatures of 9.8-15°C and salinities of 31-48 ppm (Ref. 128790).
