Distribution:  Southwest Atlantic and Southeast Pacific: Brazil, Argentina and Chile. Subtropical to temperate.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on hard substrates at depths of 8 to 320 m. Mobile invertebrates are also observed to cling to this species (Ref. 87801).
