Max. size:  10 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 70 - 2195 m
Distribution:  Circumglobal from tropical to polar regions.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 97531. Maximum lengths of male (Ref. 114244) and female (Ref. 95618) are based on occurrences; to be replaced with a better reference. Deep sea (Ref. 97531). Middle subzone species from the upper slope to a depth of 2000 m (Ref. 106841). Found on bathyal mud (Refs. 85762, 106841).
