Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 7 - 30 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: Possibly endemic to Chile. Subtropical to temperate.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It is found on vertical or overhanging rocky substrates at depths of 7 to 30 m. It prefers shaded habitats. It is known to be sensitive to disturbance including flashlights but does not expel acontia (Ref. 87801). Solitary (Ref. 2377).
