Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 2050 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Atlantic, North Atlantic and the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Common in colder subtidal waters; occasionally intertidal (Ref. 1840). Known as a benthic species (Ref. 85346). common in colder subtidal waters (Occasionally intertidal; Ref. 1840, page 178).
