Environment:  benthic; brackish; marine; depth range 0 - 45 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: from Mexico to Peru.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum carapace length: 5.9 cm (Ref. 8). Occurs at depths from 0 to 27m, common at 45 m, in bottom mud and clayey or sandy mud marine (adults) and estuarine (juveniles) environment. Subtropical to tropical climates (Ref. 8).
