Biology: |
This species occurs in the Saccoctrea zone on sandy bottoms. It is usually found on the shell of S. mordax in Ryukyu Islands and on S. cucullata in Hong Kong, but occasionally also on Crassostrea angulata or on rocks. Vertical distribution ranges from mid to high intertidal zone (Ref. 7989). Also in mangrove areas. Part of both the epibenthic and arboreal communities (Ref. 128397). |
