Family:  Scyllaridae (slipper lobsters)
Max. size:  11 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 2 - 18 m
Distribution:  Southern Pacific: Easter Island and French Polynesia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It has lengths of 11 cm, maximum total body length; 4 to 5 cm, carapace length (Ref. 4). It is found in shallow water among the rocks, the animals hide in the daytime in marine caves and crevices (Ref. 4).
