Biology:  Intertidal (Ref. 113361); algal dweller (Ref. 81751). Detritivore. Reported to aggregate on decaying mangrove leaf material (Ref. 113361). Also found amongst Mytilisepta virgata beds on exposed rocky shores (Ref. 126136).
