Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 15 m
Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Canada to Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It is commonly found in the shells of snails Lithopoma gibberosum, Lithopoma undosum, Polinices lewisii, and Kelletia kelletii, on rocks and soft bottoms to a depth of 15 meters (Ref. 865).
