Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 50 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: from Point Concepcion, California to Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Size refers to length of body and arms (Ref. 865). Small scale harvests for personal consumption are known throughout its range (Ref. 96968). It is found in crevices and caves from the low intertidal to a depth of 50 meters (Ref. 865).
