Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Persian Gulf.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Members of the family Nereididae are associated with sediment, in cracks and crevices on reef platforms, others occur under coral boulders or in coral rubble (Ref. 107425). Probably omnivores and scavengers as some species have been observed feeding on algae while others feed on invertebrates (e.g. ascidians) and carrion (Ref. 107862).
