Distribution:  Western Atlantic: from Bermuda to northern South America (Guiana).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It has a maximum total length of 13 cm (Ref. 271) and a carapace length of 1 and 6 cm (Ref. 4). Deep sea (Ref. 97531).
