Environment:  benthic; marine
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Seychelles, Mauritius and Rodriguez. This is a species complex.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in estuarine or brackish waters (Ref. 106854). Descends from its burrow above high tide mark to feed on mangrove leaves which they took into their burrows (Ref. 114268).
