Max. size:  4 cm SHL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 20 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: from Indonesia to Melanesia; north to southern Japan and south to Queensland.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Collected for food and for its shell (Ref. 349). Occurs at the low tide mark (Ref. 349).
