Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Intertidal to subtidal (Ref. 106854). Occurs in fresh water zone. Found on the mangroves Rhizophora and Avicennia as well as among oysters (Ref. 107330). Also found in sheltered rocky shores, in rock crevices and old oyster shells (Ref. 125338). Part of fouling communities found in mariculture zones (Ref. 127121).
