Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 50 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Colonies: submassive or are flat plates; with or without nodular upgrowths. Corallites: small; immersed on flat parts of colonies; exsert on upgrowths; rims of very irregular papillae. Coenosteum papillae: present on upgrowths (Ref. 846).
Biology:  On shallow (Ref. 846) to mid reef slopes (Ref. 98471).
