PĂ©rez Farfante (Ref. 75620) recognizes 4 subspecies: Metapenaeopsis mogiensis mogiensis from Japan; Metapenaeopsis mogiensis complanata from Australia and New Caledonia; Metapenaeopsis mogiensis consobrina from East Africa and the Red Sea to South China Sea and Indonesia; and Metapenaeopsis mogiensis intermedia from Taiwan to Indonesia and the Philippines. |
