Family:  Penaeidae (penaeid shrimps)
Max. size:  20.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 300 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Subtidal (Ref. 106854). Occurs at depths from 0 to 300 m (juveniles at shallower depths while adults in deeper depths). Bottom sand or mud and sand (Ref. 8). Can be pelagic, i.e. recorded in the water column (Ref. 106854).
