Distribution:  Indo-Pacific. Tropical and temperate climates.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in low intertidal coral reefs; commonly inhabits dead coral slabs and boulders of the reef crest. Found in mating pairs when abundant. Brightly camouflaged (Ref. 101243). Feeds mainly on hydroids (Ref. 101242).
