Environment:	pelagic-neritic; marine
Distribution:	Indo-West Pacific: from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh to western Australia and Okinawa Japan.
Diagnosis:	5 to 8.5 cm wide, transparent; exumbrella with a few scattered, small, slender papillae, up to 0.2 cm long; 14 rhopalia, 28 radial canals, all reaching the margin; 4 large pointed triangular velar lappets between two small ocular.
Biology:	Depth estimate based on ecology. Found along coasts (Refs. 97578, 116581, 122797) (Ref. 2992).
