Family:  Veneridae (venus clams)
Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 25 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: from northwest Indian Ocean, to Polynesia; north to Japan and south to Queensland.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in intertidal areas in sand (Ref. 75831). Common in coral reef areas. Intertidal and sublittoral (Ref. 345).
