Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Iraq and India.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Widely distributed in brackish waters. Found among vegetation of Ceratophyllum sp. or hovers freely. Also under rocks or among plants such as Phragmites australis (Ref. 114998). Most mysids are omnivores, feeding on copepods, diatoms and organic detritus (Ref. 115106).
