Environment:  benthic; marine
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific and Western Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Assumed maximum length from Ref. 844. A shallow water species found on reefs, on turf algae (Ref. 844), and inhabits areas of mixed sand and rock (Ref. 866). Feeds on polychaete worms (Ref. 844 and 866).
