Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic and the Mediterranean: from Ireland to Norway, south to Italy and east to Turkey. Temperate to subtropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 124604. Inhabits mud to muddy sand (Ref. 123734) and are also found in the coralline zone (Ref. 124602). It also lives in burrows of Nephrops norwegicus and other similar burrows (Ref. 121089).
