Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean.
Diagnosis:  Colonies are massive and mostly hemispherical. Corallites are large and plocoid , tending to become flabello-meandroid with several centers. Pale brown in color with blue-grey oral discs.
Biology:  Found in sandy reef areas (Ref. 847).
