Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Hawaii.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Depth estimate based on Family (Ref. 112947). Open shells face into the current with their top shell thinly covered with sand. They have been obseved to swim 2-3 m when disturbed. Forms patches or beds (Ref. 122680).
