Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Endemic to Hawaii.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 122680. Assumed maximum length from Ref. 844. Found in ledges (Ref. 844) and caves (Refs. 844, 122680). Carnivore (Ref. 122680), feeds on sponges on which it is often found sitting (Ref. 844).
