Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth range from Ref. 124173. Occurs in brackish and marine waters, in sandy-muddy sediments of lower intertidal and shallow subtidal zone. Can also be found in wild oyster reefs, seagrass prairies and algal mats. Builds U-shaped tubes in muddy sediments in which one male and one female often are found together (Ref. 124169). Motile suspension and surface deposit feeder (Ref. 125928).
