Max. size:  9 cm TL (female)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 11 - 70 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Australia to Indonesia and New Hebrides.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 116488. Frequently occurs intertidally among coral rubble, under boulders and in sponges on near shore tidal and coral reef flats or Zostera beds. This species can be found in intertidal and subtidal areas (Ref. 106854).
