Diagnosis: |
Colony: massive, hemispherical or columnar, often over 1 m across. Corallites: only slightly angular, with thick rounded walls. Septa: irregular length, tapering from the wall to the small columellae. Thick paliform lobes. Color: uniform cream or brown, sometimes with orange centers (Ref. 848). |
